Frederick E. Soliman, DO, MS, is a primary care sports medicine physician with Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute. Athletes and those with physically active lifestyles turn to Dr. Soliman to advise them about how to improve their overall health and performance and prevent injuries. He specializes in several of today's most effective treatments, including ultrasound-guided injections and Tenex procedures. For those who do experience injury, he is impact certified and provides concussion diagnosis and management and care for musculoskeletal injuries.

Primary Care Sports Medicine

Using a non-surgical approach, Dr. Soliman provides primary care sports medicine treatment to patients with acute injuries such as fractures, muscle strain, knee and shoulder injuries and more. He also cares for those with common overuse injuries like tendinitis and stress fractures.

Non-Surgical Treatments

Non-surgical treatments are often the best course of action for patients with less severe injuries and conditions. Depending on the patient and situation, Dr. Soliman may recommend platelet-rich plasma, ultrasound-guided injections, Tenex procedures and more.

Patients who suffer from chronic tendon pain of the elbow, shoulder, knee or ankle may be candidates for Tenex. This non-surgical procedure removes scar tissue from tendons.
